Design of a Lukasiewicz rule-driven fuzzy processor
نویسنده
چکیده
Rule-driven processing is a proven way of achieving high-speed in fuzzy processing. Up to now, ruledriven architectures where designed to work with minimum or product as T-norm. Nevertheless, a Lukasiewicz T-norm is typically used with the compositional rule of inference in expert systems applications that are based on a fuzzy inference engine. This paper presents a rule-driven processing architecture for systems with a Lukasiewicz T-norm and partition of unity membership functions with an overlap factor of two.

Linear optimization of fuzzy relation inequalities with max-Lukasiewicz composition
In this paper, we study the finitely many constraints of fuzzy relation inequalities problem and optimize the linear objective function on this region which is defined with fuzzy max-Lukasiewicz operator. In fact Lukasiewicz t-norm is one of the four basic t-norms. A new simplification technique is given to accelerate the resolution of the problem by removing the components having no effect on ...
متن کاملRule based fuzzy classification using squashing functions
In this paper we are dealing with the construction of a fuzzy rule based classifier. A three-step method is proposed based on Lukasiewicz logic for the description of the rules and the fuzzy memberships to construct concise and highly comprehensible fuzzy rules. In our method, a genetic algorithm is applied to evolve the structure of the rules and then a gradient based optimization to fine tune...
متن کاملSOFT TOPOLOGY AND SOFT PROXIMITY AS FUZZY PREDICATES BY FORMULAE OF LUKASIEWICZ LOGIC
In this paper, based in the L ukasiewicz logic, the definition offuzzifying soft neighborhood structure and fuzzifying soft continuity areintroduced. Also, the fuzzifying soft proximity spaces which are ageneralizations of the classical soft proximity spaces are given. Severaltheorems on classical soft proximities are special cases of the theorems weprove in this paper.
متن کاملComparing Methods for Knowledge-Driven and Data-Driven Fuzzy Modeling: A Case Study in Textile Industry
The aim of this study is to compare different approaches to fuzzy systems design from different perspectives: knowledge-driven versus data-driven and rule-based (flat) versus tree-based (hierarchical). More specifically, our comparison is focused on two of the arguably most important criteria in fuzzy systems design, namely accuracy and interpretability. We compare two approaches to data-driven...
متن کاملFrom knowledge-based to data-driven modeling of fuzzy rule-based systems: A critical reflection
This paper briefly elaborates on a development in (applied) fuzzy logic that has taken place in the last couple of decades, namely, the complementation or even replacement of the traditional knowledge-based approach to fuzzy rule-based systems design by a data-driven one. It is argued that the classical rule-based modeling paradigm is actually more amenable to the knowledge-based approach, for ...
